Police in northern New Jersey are trying to identify a man who was found wandering naked through the woods yesterday afternoon.
The man was taken to Bergen Regional Medical Center for evaluation because he could not provide any information on his identity or where he was from.
A passer-by called police after encountering the naked man in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Mahwah Police Chief James Batelli told The Star-Ledger of Newark that officers found the man off Route 202 unclothed and covered in mud on Sunday.
Batelli says the man had no signs of head trauma or injuries that could have caused memory loss.
Police found clothing that could have belonged to the man in the wooded area – but no documents providing a clue to his identity.
