Watermelon

What really makes watermelon arousing is the compound citrulline, an amino acid that has been shown to relax blood vessels and rev up sex drive. This fruit does more than get us in the mood; it keeps us going strong thanks to a potent array of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Avocado

This fruit is a powerhouse of vitamins and minerals - and it’s a great source of energy-sustaining fiber, too. So go wild and toss some avocado in your salad or dice one up and make your salsa extra hearty.

Celery

Granted this twiggy-looking veggie isn’t so sexy at first glance, so how is it that a stalk of celery can make a girl swoon? When a man eats celery it prompts the release of pheromones through his sweat, acting as nature’s love potion.  And ladies, celery can make you feel sexier, too, because it’s great for slimming.  Celery actually qualifies as a negative-calorie food; digesting celery burns more calories than it contains!

Chocolate

Some, but not all chocolate boosts libido. Nix milk chocolate and go for dark chocolate instead. That’s because dark chocolate is rich in flavonoids, a powerful antioxidant that promotes healthy blood flow and circulation – a handy helper for sexual arousal.

Figs

Did Cleopatra know her favorite fruit contains amino acids that can fire up sexual stamina?  Fresh figs are sweet and exotic – a true pleasure food that’s perfect for sharing sliced or used in recipes by sautéing or pureeing them, or chopping them into succulent morsels.
